BEIJING, Nov. 7 (Xinhua) -- Chinese stocks closed higher on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.23 percent to 3,077.82 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index closed 0.18 percent higher at 11,207.73 points.
