Tokyo stocks decrease in morning following Nikkei's 29-yr high

TOKYO, Nov. 18 (Xinhua) -- Tokyo stocks fell Wednesday morning as brokers dealt with caution a day after benchmark Nikkei's 29-year high.

The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average decreased 197.44 points, or 0.76 percent, from Tuesday to 25,817.18.

The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, meanwhile, shed 9.16 points, or 0.53 percent, at 1,725.50.

Nonferrous metal, marine transportation and air transportation issues comprised those that decreased the most by the morning break.
