BEIJING, Nov. 3 (Xinhua) -- Chinese stocks opened higher Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.46 percent to open at 3,239.81 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.41 percent higher at 13,476.58 points.
