BEIJING, Feb. 14 (Xinhua) -- China's major stock indices ended higher in the morning session Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index ending 0.52 percent higher at 2,921.25 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index gained 0.79 percent to end at 10,949.68 points at midday.
