Chinese shares higher at midday Monday

BEIJING, July 13 (Xinhua) -- China's major stock indices ended higher in the morning session Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 1.27 percent to 3,426.21 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index rose 2.72 percent to end at 14,042.87 points at midday.
