BEIJING, Dec. 13 (Xinhua) -- Chinese stocks opened mixed on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.01 percent to open at 3,179.44 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened flat at 11,398.84 points.
