BEIJING, Dec. 12 (Xinhua) -- China's major stock indices ended lower in the morning session Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.63 percent to 3,186.63 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index lost 0.62 percent to 11,430.34 points at midday.
