BEIJING, April 17 (Xinhua) - Chinese stocks closed mixed on Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.1 percent to 4,051.43 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index closed 0.6 percent higher at 14,885.42 points.
