HONG KONG, July 8 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong stocks rallied on Wednesday, with the benchmark Hang Seng Index jumping 2.99 percent to finish at 24,199.46 points.

The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index surged 4.04 percent to 8,084.22 points, while the Hang Seng Tech Index soared 4.97 percent to 4,731.02 points.
