Hong Kong's stock market closed higher on Wednesday with the benchmark Hang Seng Index up 1.4 percent to close at 24,681.10 points.

The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index rose 1 percent to end at 8,184.38 points, while the Hang Seng Tech Index climbed 1.3 percent to 4,740.49 points.
