U.S. President Donald Trump said he was unhappy that oil companies were seeing record profits during the U.S.-Israeli attacks on Iran, calling out ExxonMobil and Chevron for making "too much money" while Americans struggled with surging gas prices.

Fuel prices surged during U.S. strikes on Iran, which has disrupted supply chains and services from the Middle East.

As consumers fume over gas prices, tensions between the White House and allies in the industry have worsened.
