In just 13 years, China's new energy vehicle (NEV) sales surged from 17,600 to 16.49 million, up more than 930-fold. China has ranked No. 1 globally in NEV production and sales for 11 consecutive years, and today, one in every three cars sold worldwide is made in China.
The reason is simple: China chose the right track, with electrification as the foundation, connectivity as the bridge and intelligence as the driving force.
Rather than follow on a track laid by others, China leads on a track of its own.
