Graphics: US goods exports to China grow twice as fast as to world, 2001-2025

China is a vital trading partner of the US. From 2001 to 2025, US goods exports to China grew 454.2%, more than double the global 198.6% growth of US goods exports. China ranked as the largest export market for US soybeans and cotton, the second-largest for integrated circuits and coal, and the third-largest for medical devices, liquefied petroleum gas and automobiles. Meanwhile, the US is the largest source of China's services trade deficit. These figures make clear that China–US economic and trade cooperation is, at its core, mutually beneficial, with the two sides' overall gains broadly balanced.
