Services of Russia's leading IT company Yandex are gradually returning to normal after a large-scale outage caused by Ukrainian drone attacks on its data centers, the company's press service said Sunday.
"Yandex services are gradually returning to operation. Access to Alice, Search, Yandex Maps, Taxi, Mail and other services is being restored, but some functions remain unavailable," the company said on its official MAX channel.
The outage followed Ukrainian drone attacks on Yandex data centers. The facility in Sasovo was shut down from Wednesday evening to the early hours of Thursday, while infrastructure at a data center in the Kaluga Region was damaged on Friday morning. Another drone attack on Sunday forced the company's data center in Vladimir to suspend operations.
Yandex engineers are continuing to restore Yandex Pay. The company said access to users' funds would be restored soon but did not provide a specific timeline.
