The US skincare company Estee Lauder Group unveiled its pavilion at the 2022 China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai on Sunday, as the first carbon-neutral pavilion in the consumer goods exhibition hall.
Made of wood fiber materials certified by Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), the pavilion also received the first FSC project certification in China.
Meanwhile, the building materials, including timber and steel structures, will be recycled to offset the carbon emissions during the CIIE through technological innovation and environmental protection actions.
