Ford Escape now on the roads of Zhejiang

Changan Ford launched the all-new Escape SUV in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province on Thursday. The joint venture will offer three variants of the all new Escape at suggested prices ranging from 189,800 to 218,800 yuan ($27,081-$31,219).

All the variants are equipped with fourth generation 2-liter Eco-Boost turbocharged engine and the new 8-gear automatic transmission, which can generate a maximum output of 248 horsepower and a top torque of 393 Nm that is competitive in the segment.

It can sprint from zero to 100 km as the model uses the lightweight aluminum alloy to make suspension front and rear control arm.

The SUV is equipped with Sync and an intelligent entertainment system, which was co-developed with Baidu.

It has a number of intelligent features, such as voice interaction, intelligent route planning, hotel booking and food delivery.

To ensure safety, the all-new Escape features a Co-Pilot 360 intelligent driving assistance system.

The car body is as long as 4,542 millimeters, with the wheelbase stretched to 2,710mm.
