HONG KONG, July 9 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong stocks closed up 80.98 points, or 0.31 percent, to 26,210.16 points on Thursday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 26,016.75 and 26,374.94. Turnover totaled 206.83 billion Hong Kong dollars (about 26.69 billion U.S. dollars).
