HONG KONG, June 18 (Xinhua) - Hong Kong stocks closed up 271.61 points, or 1.00 percent, to 27,498.77 points on Tuesday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 27,201.02 and 27,584.12. Turnover totaled 71.05 billion Hong Kong dollars (about 9.07 billion US dollars).
