HONG KONG, June 19 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong stocks closed up 703.37 points, or 2.56 percent, to 28,202.14 points on Wednesday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 28,022.49 and 28,224.87. Turnover totaled 105.15 billion Hong Kong dollars (about 13.43 billion US dollars).
