Shandong Nanshan Aluminum Co., Ltd. and French airplane parts company Figeac Aero have signed an official cooperation agreement to set up a joint venture.
The joint-venture Nanshan Figeac Industry Co., Ltd was planned in March this year to produce aircraft components and parts.
The two parties will invest in developing a deep processing production line for aircraft parts, according to a statement from Nanshan Aluminum.
Leveraging Nanshan Aluminum's R&D and production capabilities in aircraft materials and Figeac's management and technology experience in deep processing, they will offer product solutions for domestic and overseas clients.
Nanshan Aluminum, located in east China's aluminum hub of Longkou, is an industrial giant in high-end aluminum alloy plates and advanced aluminum coils and sheets.
Figeac Aero is a specialized provider of parts and sub-assembly components to important aviation parts and aircraft manufacturers.
