Nepali businessmen pledge support for Chinese investors

Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has assured a team of Chinese investors that it was ready to help in tackling problems faced by the Chinese investors.
According to a press release issued by the FNCCI on Tuesday, Nepali traders have held discussions with the Chinese delegation on increasing investment in the areas of hotel and tourism, infrastructure development, agriculture energy and information technology.
FNCCI Vice-President Shekhar Golchha asked the Chinese delegation to increase their investment in Nepal.
"Nepal has established itself as a nation where investors can earn good profit," he said.
During the discussion, the Chinese delegation had sought information about legal provisions and practical issues related to land acquisition and forest clearances for the infrastructure projects, according to the FNCCI press release.
