China's human resources ministry said on Tuesday that Zhu Hexin has been appointed as vice governor of the People's Bank of China, the central bank.

Zhu, who once served as vice governor of Southwest China's Sichuan Province, has previously worked for the Bank of Communications and State-owned Bank of China.
