Sales of JD Daojia at Double 11 three times last year

JD Daojia collaborated with more than 100,000 brick and mortar stores to provide consumers with high-quality goods and efficient delivery services online and offline simultaneously at the Double 11 weekend, when JD Daojia set a new record of daily peak orders, with sales three times higher than the same period last year.

According to JD Daojia, one of its leading partners, Walmart, jumped four-fold compared to the same period last year, and Yonghui supermarket also rose two times. Although it was the first time for some partners, such as CR Vanguard and Carrefour, to celebrate online 11.11 since having a presence on the JD Daojia platform, their sales growth was also very encouraging.

During the 11.11 weekend, all major categories achieved a substantial increase in sales: sales of general merchandise were five times higher than the same period last year, and pharmaceutical and health products reached 2.5 times and bakery products even tripled year-on-year. Moreover, a large number of beauty and makeup stores started joining hands with JD Daojia this year, and their sales rose five-and-a-half times compared to the same period last year, which accounts for the highest sales growth in all categories.

Dada-JD Daojia is China's leading on-demand logistics and online-to-offline (O2O) e-commerce platform. Dada covers more than 450 cities across China. It serves over 1.2 million merchants and 50 million individual users, with 10 million peak daily orders. JD Daojia has more than 60 million registered customers and 30 million monthly active users covering 63 major cities. Walmart and JD invested $500 million in Dada-JD Daojia in August.
