Shanghai crude oil futures open lower

SHANGHAI, March 19 (Xinhua) -- Crude oil futures opened lower Friday in daytime trading on the Shanghai International Energy Exchange.
The most active crude oil contract for May 2021 delivery was down 24 yuan (about 3.7 U.S. dollars) to open at 388.6 yuan a barrel.
China launched the crude oil futures trading, which is open to overseas investors, in March 2018.
