Soybean futures opened lower Tuesday in daytime trading on the Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE).

The most active No.1 soybean contract for May 2021 delivery dipped 51 yuan (about 7.88 U.S. dollars) to open at 5,629 yuan per tonne.

China is the world's largest soybean importer.
