Tencent CEO tops Forbes list of Chinese CEOs

Some of the CEOs will come as no surprise such as Ma Huateng, CEO of Tencent Holdings, and Zhang Yong, CEO of Alibaba.

The top 10 list is as follows:

1.Ma Huateng – Tencent Holdings

2.Zhang Yong – Alibaba

3.Wang Zuji – Contruction Bank

4.Li Baofang – Guizhou Maotai

5.Ma Mingzhe  -Ping An

6.Han Jingyuan – China Oriental Group

7.Li Liangbin – Yan Feng Lithium Industry

8.Wang Gaofei – Weibo

9.Liao Zengtai – Wanhua Chemical

10.Tao Desheng – Livzon Group

ECNS reports that the largest proportion of CEOs on the list are working in software and service, food, beverage and tobacco, and raw material industries.

The list ranks the CEOs through a number of methods such as net profits, net growth, performance and capitalisation of companies.

From the top 10 of the top CEOs list, only Ma Huateng makes the top 50 of the World’s billionaires list which is also compiled by Forbes.

However, overall there are far more Chinese billionaires on this list than British billionaires.

Actually, there are no British billionaires on the Forbes World Billionaires list who managed to make the top 50.

Whereas Chinese billionaires have secured six of the spots.

Ma Huateng and Jack Ma have made the top 20 spots.

The other four billionaires who made the list are Hui Ka Yan, Wang Jianlin, Yang Huiyan, and He Xiangjian.
