The Ritz-Carlton Group introduced their new maritime journeys and onshore sightseeing activities designed to expand the guests' experience beyond the expectations. For both sightseeing in scenic spots and the exploration of novel destinations, five unique onshore sightseeing activities have been created for guests: charming scenery, physical and mental entertainment, cultural interaction, dynamic vigor and delicacy sharing in addition to onshore concierge services.

The maritime journey integrates the famous luxurious holiday lifestyle of the brand and a comfortable cruise holiday experience. The journey lasts for seven to 10 days. During this time, guests can visit famous scenic spots and explore novel designations. The first voyage will be customized according to the season. Routes include multiple destinations such as the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, the Caribbean, Latin America, Canada and the US. Throughout the journey, the cruise will stop by harbors in Barbados, Cartagena, Bordeaux and Copenhagen or other charming harbors such as Carriacou, Falmouth, Gustavia, Balearic Islands, Mykonos and Portofino. The trips are tightly connected so that guests can explore different destinations to their heart's content.

The five special onshore sightseeing locations offer abundant entertainment for everyone. "Charming scenery" presents the scenic spots and cultural essence along the way, thus enabling guests to experience exotic customs. "Physical and mental entertainment" creates a peaceful environment for body and mind. Yoga practice and independent meditation make the guests feel pleasant both physically and mentally. "Cultural interaction" endows the guests who are interested in public benefit with more chances to protect the local wildlife or natural environment. "Dynamic vigor" is the best choice for outdoor lovers. Guests may swim in the sea along with turtles or drift by boat along the coastline. "Delicacy sharing" allows guests to taste the local delicacies, visit the local breweries or learn to cultivate seed oysters on private farmlands.
The Ritz-Carlton's cruise ship is set to make its maiden voyage in November 2019, which will make Marriott the first company that provides luxurious hotel service on both land and sea. The customized cruise ship is 190 meters long, with a tourist capacity of 298. It is equipped with 149 suites with private balconies. In addition, the cruise ship also provides two top-level deluxe suites measuring 158 square meters that are equipped with private eddy swimming pools. The deluxe suites were jointly created by The Ritz-Carlton and Tillberg Design of Sweden. It combines the refined modern techniques and exquisite style of the interior decorations, thus creating the elegant and charming space. The overall experience of a cruise holiday will allow guests to see firsthand the highly-acclaimed, individualized experience and premium services of The Ritz-Carlton.
