Total transactions on Alibaba's online shopping portal Tmall.com has exceeded 10 billion yuan ($1.43 billion) in 2 minutes and 5 seconds of the Double 11 Shopping Festival, Alibaba announced, according to the official Weibo of Tmall Global.

The amount 10 billion yuan cost three minutes last year. This year, within four minutes and 20 seconds, the total trade volume has exceeded 19.1 billion yuan, surpassing the total volume of the whole day in 2012.
