Tokyo stocks closed higher on Thursday, rebounding from earlier losses on inflation concerns.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index ended up 0.25 percent or 70.23 points at 28,110.39 while the broader Topix index was up 0.14 percent or 2.86 points at 1,981.56 at the close.
