TOKYO, Nov. 22 (Xinhua) -- Tokyo stocks closed higher Friday, snapping a three-day losing streak, as investors bought back oversold issues, with suppliers for China's Huawei gaining traction on the firm's increased procurement plans from Japan.

The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average gained 74.30 points, or 0.32 percent, from Thursday to close the day at 23,112.88.

The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, meanwhile, added 1.96 points, or 0.12 percent, to close at 1,691.34.

Securities house, electric appliance and mining-linked issues comprised those that gained the most by the close of play.
