China's economy achieved 6.9 percent annual growth in 2017, with its gross domestic product totaling 82.7 trillion yuan.

Shanghai became the first Chinese city to have a GDP of over 3 trillion yuan in 2017, according to data released by the local government.

Here are the 10 cities with the best performance in terms of GDP in 2017.
