UAE, Albania aim to expand bilateral relations

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Vice President Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum on October 24 met with Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama to discuss bilateral relations, UAE state news agency WAM reported.
Sheikh Mohammed, also the UAE prime minister and ruler of Dubai, exchanged views with Rama in means to enhance ties, especially in the tourism, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure sectors, said the report.
The vice president emphasized the UAE's keenness "on welcoming friendly countries that want to build partnerships between them."
He also said that the UAE is a country that promotes "the noble values of tolerance, love and peaceful coexistence."
The Albanian prime minister welcomed the extension of new cooperation and opportunities to develop and enhance mutual ties.
He also stressed possible cooperation in the fields of UAE expertise, including infrastructure, aviation and ports.
Rama also expressed wish that the UAE's international carrier Emirates Airline shall add Albania to its network of destination, news channel Dubai One reported.
