VCG is fined by local cyberspace authority

Visual China Group (VCG), China's biggest stock photo provider, has been fined 300,000 yuan ($44,712) by the Tianjin cyberspace administration, according to a company statement Thursday.

Subsidiary company Fotomore.cn under VCG was fined as an administrative penalty, and this will not trigger the compulsory delisting required due to major violations of the law, the statement said.
The company had previously taken the initiative to temporarily close its website, and the statement did not give an estimated timeline to resume the service.
