WUHAN -- Wuhan has planned to reduce electricity fees for enterprises as they gradually resume operations in the city hit hard by the novel coronavirus outbreak.
The city's electricity supplier said Tuesday a slew of favorable policies will save local companies 389 million yuan ($54.9 million) in electricity bills before June 30.
A total of 1,365 companies are covered by the new policies, it said.
Wuhan will take differentiated measures to promote work resumption based on the health risks of different regions to mitigate the impact on the economy, the latest government circular said Tuesday.
