The 10th "Love Knows No Borders" International Charity Sale was held in Beijing with the theme of "Hear Love of the World."

All funds raised from the event will be used for medical procedures, including cochlear implant operations for hearing-impaired children in rural and poor areas of Gansu Province.

More than 150 representatives from foreign embassies and the representative offices of international organizations attended today's opening ceremony.

The event, which was initiated by Qian Wei, wife of Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi, is hosted by the Chinese Foreign Ministry and China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation, alongside other government bodies.

"This year marks the tenth anniversary of the international charity sale. Thanks to the decade-long support of the loving people at home and abroad, 'The Love Knows No Borders' event is now a well-known charity brand," Qian said.

"Over the past 10 years, we have raised funds to help villagers, disabled people, and children in the poverty-stricken areas of Yunnan, Gansu, Henan, Guizhou, and Guangxi. Every autumn in Beijing, diplomats from various countries present distinctive items for the charity sale."

"It has become a rare opportunity for Chinese people to learn about the diverse cultures of the world. It's also an experience of living in a common community with a shared future for mankind," she added.
