A man stabbed passersby with a knife in Ji'an, Jiangxi Province, at 7:12 am on February 21. The man was quickly controlled by the police. The 11 injured people, including auxiliary police and students, were sent to the hospital for treatment, though none reported life-threatening injuries.

After a preliminary investigation, the perpetrator was found to be 33-year-old Guo Kaibin. His family members reported that he had a history of psychiatric treatment. At present, the injured are being treatment and an investigation is underway.
