The 16th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF) was held online for the first time in the form of “Cloud ICIF” on Monday. The ICIF will last for five days this year.

Affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, Cloud ICIF makes full use of new generation of information technology, artificial intelligence and other high-tech means to create a display and trading platform for exhibitors from all over the world through the construction of a “Five Clouds” model.

There are 12 virtual exhibition halls on the 16th ICIF platform, such as the Cultural Industries Hall complex, the Culture and Tourism Hall and the Smart Broadcasting Hall. Among them, the Film Industry Technology Hall and the Internet Hall are set up for the first time, which will showcase the latest achievements of integrated development of the film technology, internet and cultural industries.

According to reports, cultural enterprises and products from 30 countries and regions such as France, Japan, Brazil, and Turkey are displayed through the Cloud, and nearly 10,000 registered overseas purchasers are participating in the procurement.

The 16th ICIF employs 5G, VR, big data, AI and other technology applications to carry out 24-hour uninterrupted centralized display and accurate information push during the exhibition, which helps both supply and demand parties to achieve high-frequency interaction, bringing more business opportunities for negotiations and cooperation.
