32 patients were discharged from Leishenshan Hospital on Thursday after going through hospital discharge procedures including the observation of clinical symptoms, imaging evaluation and nucleic acid tests (NAT).

The patients, ranging in age from 17 to 77, bid an emotional farewell to the medical staff at the hospital gate, who have taken good care of them.
“The doctors and nurses treated me as their sister and I will remember them forever,” said a 23-year-old woman, who was confirmed to be infected with COVID-19 on February 8. She works in a cartoon company in Wuhan but her family lives in Henan Province, far from Wuhan. She was upset and even scared at first, but had her heart warmed by the dedicated nurses in Leishenshan Hospital.
The released patients will be taken by their communities to designated hotels for a 14-day quarantine with close observation before they can go home.
