A 4.2-magnitude earthquake jolted Dongchuan District, Kunming City in southwest China's Yunnan Province at 10:39 am on Wednesday Beijing Time, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).

The epicenter was monitored at 26.02 degrees north latitude and 103.13 degrees east longitude, with a depth of 14 km, the CENC said.
