WUHAN, Feb. 1 (Xinhua) -- A total of 476 Taiwan compatriots are currently in Wuhan, the center of the novel coronavirus outbreak in central China, the city's cross-Strait affairs authority said Saturday.

Among them, three are suspected of being infected with the novel coronavirus and one has been hospitalized as a confirmed patient.

Consulting hotlines and WeChat groups have been set up for Taiwan compatriots since the city suspended public transportation, closed the airport and railway services.

The city's cross-Strait affairs authority is helping some Taiwan compatriots who hope to return to Taiwan.
