NEW YORK, June 29 (Xinhua) -- An 5.2-magnitude earthquake jolted 149km ESE of Taitung City, Taiwan at 19:44:10 GMT on Saturday, the US Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 22.2807 degrees north latitude and 122.5072 degrees east longitude.
