7 cruises set off for Wuhan to accommodate medical workers

In order to meet the urgent needs of accommodating medical workers, China’s Ministry of Transport mobilized seven cruise ships on the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River, which can provide 1,469 beds, to aid Wuhan, the epicenter of the COVID-19 outbreak. (Photos: people.cn; compiled by Mo Deyuan)
These cruises, known as the “hotels on the water”, would provide logistic services to the medical workers.
The fleet of cruises is equipped with ships that are specialized in disposing of waste.
