8 residents test positive in second-round COVID-19 tests in north China’s Manzhouli

Manzhouli in North China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China's largest land port, has completed a second round of nucleic acid tests for 203,378 residents, with eight testing positive, the autonomous region's epidemic control group announced Tuesday.

Among the eight positive samples, seven were confirmed COVID-19 cases and one was an asymptomatic patient.

1,920 residents were under medical observation, and 202 were quarantined at home with 1,695 discharged from isolation, local authorities said.
