A Hong Kong court has sentenced seven defendants to terms of imprisonment ranging from 38 to 40 months and two to a correctional institution for young offenders for rioting near Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) in November 2019.
A district court in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) last November found the nine guilty of rioting in the vicinity of the PolyU.
