A 91-year-old man, surnamed Wang, recovered from the novel coronavirus on Friday, making him the eldest among those discharged from the hospital.

"The disease is not that terrible. It was nothing compared to my war experience," said Wang, who joined the war to liberate China‘s Yichang City back in 1949, with repeated appreciation of efforts and care from medical staff and communities.
"We devised a special treatment due to his persistent heart issues," said Du Debing, vice-president of Yichang No.3 Hospital where Wang was treated.
Wang was diagnosed with coronavirus infection on Jan. 25, six days after showing suspected symptoms of fever and cough.
