All 32 Tibetan counties in Sichuan Province shake off poverty

Southwest China's Sichuan government issued a notice Wednesday approving the withdrawal of another 16 Tibetan counties from the country's list of poverty, marking the total poverty alleviation of Sichuan's Tibetan areas. 

The Sichuan Tibetan areas are the second largest Tibetan areas in China. With 2,063 improvished villages and 360,000 poor people in 2013, its poverty incidence decreased to 0.1 percent as of the end of 2019.
