On November 12, the first all-electric 2,000-ton class ship, an inland vessel, is lifted and launched in the Guangzhou Longxue Shipbuilding Base in Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong Province.

The ship is 70.5-meter in length, 13.9-meter wide and 4.5-meter deep. It weighs 600 tons coupled with a draft of 3.3 meters. The vessel provides accommodation for 6 crew members.

The ship can fill the global void for double electric-driven bulk carrier in the same ton class.

The vessel is equipped with a 26-ton super capacitor and ultra-large power lithium cell. The ship's battery capacity is 2,400 kilowatt per hour, a maximum speed of 12.8 kilometers per hour; and an endurance capacity of 80 kilometers.

Besides, the carrier has zero emission of PM2.5 particles.
