The Wuhan branch of ICBC has agreed to provide a credit line of no less than 100 billion yuan (around 14 billion U.S. dollars) to help enterprises fight the epidemic and resume production, officials of the Wuhan municipal bureau of local finance said.

No new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported Sunday in Wuhan, capital of central China's Hubei Province, marking the fifth day in a row of zero new case as the city recovers from the epidemic, according to the provincial health commission on Monday.

The bank will prioritize the needs of nine key areas, including medicine, living necessity producers, transportation and logistics providers, equipment manufacturing, automobile and parts manufacturing, as well as foreign trade and foreign investment projects.

Greater financial support will be extended to small and micro enterprises in sectors such as catering, supermarkets, logistics, food and light industry, the officials said. Enditem
