Beijing municipal government participates in 2019 Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum and Exhibition

The 2019 Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum & Exhibition (2019MIECF) ended on Saturday with the theme, “Promoting Ecological Civilization and Green Development”. The 2019MIECF was organized by the government of the Macao Special Administrative Region to build a multi-faceted green communication platform for international environmental policy research and environmental protection industry technology exchanges.

Beijing has sent delegations to the event many times. During the forum and exhibition, the Beijing delegation participated in all activities,  including the opening ceremony, Green Business Opportunity Cooperation Day and Environmental Protection Professional Promotion Fair, and also set up a Beijing Pavilion at the main exhibition hall to show the work and achievements of Beijing in the field of environmental pollution control.

2019MIECF attracted over 4,700 people and over 500 exhibitors from Chinese mainland, “Belt and Road” countries and European countries. A total of 44 agreements were signed, which resulted in 350 exchange and business contacts.
