BEIJING, March 13 (Xinhua) -- Beijing reported one new confirmed case of novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) imported from Britain on Thursday, local health authority said Friday.

The city also reported one local suspected case and eight imported suspected cases, with three from the Netherlands, two from Italy, one from the Republic of Korea, one from France and one from Austria, according to the Beijing Municipal Health Commission.

As of Thursday, a total of 436 confirmed cases had been reported in Beijing. Of all, 342 have been discharged from hospital after recovery and eight have died. The city now has 31 suspected cases.

No new confirmed cases have been reported in 12 of the 16 districts in the city for more than 14 consecutive days.
